Forgotten Land - действие начинается в тишине, 12 ровно расположенных танцоров стоят перед свинцовым небом. Они начинают медленно, согласованно идти вперед, моментами кто-то из толпы прерывает гармонию, но через некоторое время вновь это единый строй. Тяжелая музыка напоминает сильный ветер и наполняет пустотой.
Forgotten Land opens in silence, the 12 carefully spaced dancers facing a leaden sky. They begin a slow, concerted pacing, interrupted by women randomly dropping towards the floor then returning to the collective action. Gradually this unity fragments, dancers thrusting their bodies sideways and then breaking into tremulous runs. A series of pas de deux follow, sorrowful, urgent or tender. Benjamin Britten's Sinfonia da Requiem drives the action, its pounding adding weight to the forceful, surging energy of the dance.
