Оригинал Denver's David Taylor Dance Theatre, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, presents its charming version of the family classic, "The Nutcracker," each holiday season in Denver and on tour to communities throughout the Rocky Mountain States and the Midwest. This lovely classical ballet has been delighting audiences since its premiere in 1985. This video is the full-length production, recorded in December, 2005. Denver's Rocky Mountain News called David Taylor's production "a memorable 'Nutcracker' that captivates the eye. Satisfying, daring, and fun!" The company has presented "The Nutcracker" in association with the Casper, Grand Junction, and Billings Symphonies, Fort Collins Symphony, and the Boulder Philharmonic. In addition to "Nutcracker," DTDT tours David Taylor's "Rainforest," and next season, Septime Webre's "Where the Wild Things Are" based on Maurice Sendak's beloved, illustrated book.
